Obituary of William Holland Landry

William Holland Landry, of Oregon City, Oregon, born on May 15, 1929 in Esterwood, Louisiana, to the late Enita Benoit Landry and the late Clarence Landry, Sr, passed away at age 89 on April 17, 2019 in Oregon City, Oregon.

He grew up in Evangeline, Louisiana and graduated from Iota High school in 1947. William served in the Air Force from 1947 to 1950. He also served in the Air National Guard from 1950 to 1952. He was a truckdriver until retiring in 1996.

William was married to Bert Landry. He was preceded in death by his stepson, Bobby Grandy; brothers, Chester Landry and Clarence Landry, Jr; and sisters, Jene Lejeune, Mary Klumpp, and Daisy LeGros. William is survived by his sons, Jeff Landry and Darrell Landry; daughters, Debby Earls, Lynda Blank, Patty Smith, and Denise Trouard; stepsons, Greg Kelly and Jeff Grandy; and sister, Becca Doucet.

Friends and family members may attend the memorial, officiated by Mary Follen, on Thursday, May 2 at Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Happy Valley, Oregon, 97086. Actual time to TBD.
